After starring in some of the streaming giant’s most popular shows, the United Kingdom has now inked a first-look pact with Netflix.
The landmark two-year deal gives Netflix exclusive rights to every TV series or film made inside the UK and from every UK creative.
“This arrangement underscores our commitment to the UK.” said Netflix in a statement, adding that the UK was a “formidable talent and wonderful creative partner.”
Although exact details haven’t been revealed, B&A understands that Netflix’s deal supersedes all agreements other studios or streamers may have previously signed with U.K. talent or companies.
